Until the middle of the 20th century, Sardinia was oriented towards the interior because historically they were threatened by pirates. 80% really, Rick, of the island is either considered hill or mountains. And so you have that, not just a pastoral culture, but people who reside within a hill culture are very connected to nature and food.
