There are multiple levels of complexity to dry-fly fishing and casting. At the upper end of the scale that are way more challenging than nymphing. Casting an ant on a mountain stream or lake in August is pretty easy, can be very effective. But pressured water and specifically gold metal water is entirely different. Both will push the skills of an excellent flycaster to their limits.
