The Differences Between an Affiliate Site and a Site
I would still basically use the same monthly recurring revenue multiple strategy for valuing something that is mostly display ads or other kind of common monetization methods among niche websites. Although the valuation methods will differ based on if it is monetized or not. I really think about an affiliate business as having components of it that are a lot more durable in the long term and hard to replicate. And those types of traditional ways of getting traffic and audience, I would categorize more as an affiliate site because it's more easily replicated.
