The Myth of Five Star Reviews

There's a mythology that you should push your listeners again and again to go to the iTunes store and give you a review. And these reviews these reviews are all over the map so how are we supposed to learn from them? Patricia Barber is an extraordinary artist a musician Her magnum opus is a record called Cafe Blue Here's a review from Tom Sanders. He found her voice which I had heard on the lady sings the blues compilation to be absolutely wonderful. But it doesn't tell me anything about Patricia Barber about this magnificent work of art.
