The Dangers of Idolatry

In Elijah's day, nor in John's day is Yahweh represented or delivered to the people in a, in an accurate way. And so they have and they've erected something else in its place. But this is the same thing that Elijah is doing. It's almost like Satan was learning as he went along that the best way to disguise himself is as an angel of life as the God of this world. He's easier to deceive people in subtle ways than by setting up golden calves.
