The Utility of the Public Channel on an Airplane

John Airsmith: I think all of those announcements are so trivial. The total amount of human aggravation caused by pausing movies for the remaining few luddites who are using the inflight entertainment system outweighs the utility of the announcement. So that's why I think there should be some way to convey messages of true import to us.
