George Smiley's books are murder mysteries first and foremost set in, you know, the backdrop of the Cold War. A lot of these concepts are also swirling around in this book, which as we said, is said in the Smiley verse. There was a film made out of the constant gardener, another book of his from 2001. And then his last book is published in 2021 after his death.
