The seven to thirty minute learning bout is within the altratian cycle. Some people can tolerate many of these per day. Most people can only tolerate one or two, maybe three. This is intense work of shooting free throes. You could probably do it all day. And then get to a certain poit where kee making errors, making errors, making mistakes. It is exceedingly frustrating. But that frustration iliberates the chemical cues that signal that plasticity needs to happen. They also signal the particular neurons that are active. Ah, so in the case of sign language, it might be the ones that control my hand movements as well as me thinking about what the different letters...
