The Monomath and the Hero's Journey
There's no way to misinterpret a hero's journey and I think that's really what we're gonna get to in this episode. Good students like good adventurers always make sure they've got everything they'll need for the journey ahead. In our very first reboot episode we looked at the ideas of a couple of boring old white guys. We draw Northra- Fry's boring definition of a hero for example. Wow, was it ever boring? The plot of literary fiction generally quote consists of somebody doing something unincredible and iconic Literary scholar argues that this person the one doing something is generally speaking the hero.
