With streaming, streaming's all additive. There is no limit to how many shows can be streamed. And it makes the logic of residuals fall apart because watching an old movie is not denying a job necessarily to a new actor. "The reason why the conversation feels intractable is because the foundation of why this exists has sort of gone away," he says.
