The Importance of Communication in Design

Designers have to plan for the edge cases that we talked a bit about, but also plan for. Something's going to go wrong. Someone's going to be hurt by your design. How are we going to respond to that? And that's something I don't think a lot of designers think about or organizations think about. Yeah. No, we're going beyond error messages here. We're talking about, yeah, properly, how do we say sorry? I mean, yeah, meaningfully useful. How do we fix things? Yeah. And how fast can we fix things?"
