I'm curious about anything that shines a light on the faith I inherited, but it only really kind of sparks my interest. But like everybody else in the world knows that life is a struggle. You only need to normalize your struggles if you inherited a faith that says you shouldn't be having struggles. That makes me think of the very last bit of the interview when you reference his book saying that in his book, Pete talks about the kind of goal of Christianity. The goal of Christian faith is about the experience of God rather than about like a surubly understanding God.
