I prefer to buy vehicles when they're being sold by people that i know. I always tell them, listen, if you ever want to sell the car, let me know. And what i will do is replace my cars before i need to replace my car. Just replace them proactively when a vehicle becomes available. You can get good quality vehicles, as long as you have the money to buy them when they become available.
