The Importance of Simulation in Autonomy Testing

Robotaxi is designed without a driver seat, just for passengers. How do you in some sense have a safety driver or a safety mechanism while the car is testing? Yeah, that's a really good question. We can test almost all of our autonomy stack on these vehicles on public roads and make sure that we can drive well in whatever situation we might find ourselves in. By the way, we get much, much, much more precise control on these vehicles than you can get in a regular car. That might be fun to talk about in a moment.
