Our default tends to be that our default mode is rationality and clarity. And in fact, that is not entirely true. There are layers of scripts that are running in all of us that obscure us from being clear about the reality of our situation. We build our whole mental model of what it means to be human based upon econs. But humans are not econs, right? And so we need nudges. The third thing I alluded to earlier is really questioning the stakes that you've put on that challenge.

Have you ever struggled with a problem or decision where the solution seemed impossible to see, yet obvious once someone pointed it out? You start kicking yourself for not seeing something that now appears so simple and clear. You're not alone.
