Is the Enlightenment Responsible for the Growth of the State?
The state is the biggest government we've ever seen in our lives. The family, of course, is the ultimate one,. right? If your, ifu can't be loyal to your family, what else could you possibly have loyalty too? Is hard to pretend that the enlightenment did not erode the power of each one of those spheres and obligations. And I think that's what we're seeing now - a final push to erode thepower of the family as each one of them fell from grace.
