The Offskiding in the Dutch Church

There's a heavy, pyatistic streak in the offskiding. There seem to be at least vaguely similar competing camps in the Dutch church with pyatists and confessionalists. It's more complicated than I initially thought when I first was reading. But we do see, yeah, well, this is a theme that recurs in Reformed theology throughout the ages.
