Ken evans: Wisdom is seeing the world exactly like god sees the world. When i am thinking like god thinks, and i'm alined to how god would think or process through something, then i am wise. The book of james talks about this; there's earthly wisdom, a in some cases, it even calls it demonic. And if we just kind of slow down a little bit, slow down alittle bit, and we let god's word soak us through like the sponge, we find a richer experience. We want to get to that place where we are soaked through with god's wisdom and god's word.

We all know that Bible study is supposed to be an important part of our lives as men and as believers. The sheer amount of wisdom to be had from a single verse can change your life. Yet, so many of us struggle to find the bandwidth to dig into God’s Word the way we should. The desire may be there, but we just don’t know where to start. As we set the table for our series in Proverbs 16, it's important to examine what the book is all about and how we dads can squeeze wisdom from each principle.
