There is a fear on behalf of some that I am Eastern Orthodox, trying to bring Eastern Orthodox beliefs into the Lutheran Church. Despite what my beards may tell you, I am not,. I'm not some kind of secret agent of the Orthodox Church to all convert you to Russian Orthodoxy or something. But I want to talk a little bit about first why I got interested in this doctrine and this teaching. And then I'm going to delve into exactly what it is.
