The Importance of Decision Making
The Greek word used in Matthew's Gospel for judge is a very standard word. But it has a pretty wide range of meaning, just like our English word judge does. In English, if you have a panel of people and their job is to survey a whole bunch of things like pies, they call them judges. And so what that's connected to then is another way we use this concept or this word.
