Is There a Deity Language in the Hebrew Bible?
I don't believe that we have polytheism in the Hebrew Bible, at least by the biblical writers. I reject the notion that the biblical writers would have been polytheists and then they evolved toward monotheus. You're getting into this language of Pantheon, talking about divine plurality,. That's what feels new to people.
