The Importance of Complexification
LZ Granderson: I believe there's an intelligence to life and the universe, right? It's like theological kind of like growing into ever more complexity that we can tune in with what you were calling like the Spidey sense. And when we're disconnected from that, whether it's because very strong social norms or trauma, we're not able to fill our feelings. That's how all the complexity like becomes disordered. LZ: All this really resonates with me in the sense of right, like, so complexity is in that sort of middle space between order and chaos, right? Like that's kind of where that happens.
