Every province and territory in Canada will allow women to attend annually for mammograms if they do have a strong family history. The other population we haven't talked about is the increased risk for early breast cancer in ethnic groups. Black, Asian, and Hispanic women get breast cancer younger than white women. There are breast cancer incidence peaks in the mid-40s,. In white women, at peaks in the late 50s and early 60s.
