In 18 86, Charles lawson was born into a family of 11 children in North Carolina. He and his brother moved to stokes county where they worked as tenant tobacco farmers. By 19 27, he's saved enough money to buy his own tobacco farm out on brook cove road. The town named after why i ave en asking? I mean, ism. It doesn't seem like he comes from the kind of family that they name a town after  and you'll see what i mean later.
