The Drive and the Cause of Desire

The cause of desire is the object of the drive. Desire proceeds via sublimation as far as the drive is concerned. Erogenous zones, sources of the drive, these are openings. That causes object little a, this is an opening, it's not an object. And through those erogenous zones, which are archaic residues of libido, back into this pure undivided sense of life.
