Are There Commands to Obedience?

Christ's example of service could also be something that you do a study on. Are there sins to avoid? Is there a promise to believe in this passage? And then the sea is, are there commands to obey? God has made us. He knows what is best for us. His commands are not burdensome and we need to know what his commands are so we can obey them.
