Lewis Mc naught worked in the british museums department of egyptian antiquities. He says he once inadvertently pulled the head off a mummy. To day, he is the managing editor of the online magazine returning heritage. Recently, he painted a vivid picture of the 18 68 british military expedition. 15 thousand men were sent across to put down the emperor tewadros. After the battle of macdalla, british forces seized items that they thought could help cover the cost of their expedition. Two days after the defeat of the emperor, a prize auction was held.
