Spiritualism and the Death of William James

William James remained curious about spiritualism up until his death. He refused to either believe in it blindly or debunk it fully. The fact that he was such a famous psychologist and philosopher helped keep it, at least in the science community. It gave it at least something of a veneer of respectability.
