How to Write a Book
With my last book I sort of imagined four doorways and because there were four main sections to the book this book my overall structure in a way was mosaic where there's so many different kinds of pieces that form their own patterns. Most of the illustrations are also mixed with some text and that text in most cases is mine but they're collaborative in the sense that the text and the line drawings are kind of playing off each other. It's almost like a whole separate thread through the book that you can just read the illustrations or you could just read the pleasure prompts which are the 18 exercises reflective writing exercises that I give people.
