How to Set Stretch
As a leader it's stretching enough so that you're putting someone in that that growth zone but you're not letting them become discouraged or pushing so hard. You have to be aware enough of like what that person wants and where they are today and where they want to get to so you can make sure that that's considered in the growth area well because I think this is a master skill for leaders. We all know what it's like to work for a manager who's all stretch but no safety stressful unnerving anxiety producing people tend to hold back actually rather than move forward. Like yeah stagnant stagnant we language it's boring both of them end up exhausting for different reasons.
