Is Relativism a New Absolute?

If God designed the human heart, there's an infinite vacuum there which can't be filled with finite things. You've got to pretend that something finite is infinite. So relativism itself becomes a new absolute. Well, maybe that's why some of these social movements, what they're aiming at, never seem to be concrete in reality like Marxism working or the sexual revolution. Or it's utopian, as it were. But Gnostic has no walls, never bumps up against anything. He can create a new universe.
