The big story to day is inflation, but it was particularly big today because we got the may consumer price index. The markets had been expecting a point seven % rise in consumer prices month over month. So i think some investors were bracing for a bigger number, although i think few brace for one as big as one full %. Inflation is going to get a whole lot worse.
