The Government's Exclusion of Private Equity Bids

JP Morgan bought First Republic that was a very big deal but Silicon Valley Bank last week or two weeks ago the government released the list of banks that were bidding for Silicon Valley Bank. I just wonder if first citizens can have their stock go up by a hundred percent on the deal like none of the other banks could top that it just even with limited competition it does seem like I'm wondering if the other people underbid or maybe the government discouraged them so much they couldn't It just something strikes me as a little strange there it was a rushed process the government excluded private equity bids they kind of had and if you look at the nature of the people who won you have a lot of kind of like
