In January of 2013, the couple were cash flow skint. So they decided to set up a consultancy arm called Brand Builder. In its first three months it did something like 20 or 30 grand but that revenue wasn't profitable. The company was doing all right and everyone thought it was doing amazing. But because I had the consultancy, I couldn't go into the truth of how bad it was. And so we said, well, let's try and get to the point we get 5k consultancy. That was it. We just got, yeah, we just fucked it.
