Doctor Jordan says he's interested in trying to give a constructive account of the doctrine of god, but one that is responsibly engaged with the great tradition. He thinks theological evil is something that's very important - reaching back to ideas and arguments from theologians of the past. Doctor Jordan: I think there's an interesting tension in doing this kind of work because you're looking over your shoulder and looking back at a great tradition. But also need to restate doctrine in a way that makes sense in contemporary context.
