The History of Bethlehem

After the Neolithic period when agriculture was invented in the West, bread became the main thing you ate. And I don't know that we have an answer why. Bethlehem is mentioned at least as early as the prophet Micah, which is like 800 BC. So it's certainly possible that there was a famous bakery in Bethlehem and that's where the name came from.
