How much trust can you put in people making decisions that are outside of their main competency? Let's say one of my teams tells me, hey, we're going to use Rust for this project. Great. This is the expectations. And we think we can accomplish X in one month and Y in month two and Z in month three. Month one goes by. They haven't accomplished X yet. You don't really know everything that will happen if you change the Rust. So again, using these arbitrary months, a week goes by, wow, this is, we're totally behind.
