Concrete Economics: How AI Can Succeed Politically

Concrete economics is a slim readable volume that you unlike slouching toward utopia can read in like an hour and you can get the point. In order for industrial policy to succeed politically you need to tell people what they're going to get from the economy. What can your economy give to you? And I think for AI we just you know we need to answer that in order to get people to not fall victim to the siren song of AI slowdowns and pauses. We need to convince people that AI or at least generative AI is going to make their lives much less full of bullshit.
