The Provocative Aspect of Hell
The template of the old reality with its destinations of good and evil, heaven and hell are problematic now. There is not a geographical location for hell. Hell becomes an idea of the absence of God. And so you move through almost like the path to recognizing your divinity is a path that takes you through hell,. The burning away of all of these aspects of identity, all of the dross, as the guides say, to allow yourself to emerge. It's also the myth of the phoenix which comes in fire.
