The Role of Anticoagulants in GI Bleeding

Post polypectomy bleeding is suspected by a history of a recent endoscopy with polypectomy. Bleeding secondary to inflammatory colitis, ischemic colitis, or neoplasms as confirmed endoscopically are not generally amenable to endoscopic or radiological management. Surgical assessment should be sought if significant bleeding persists.
