The Pros and Cons of Deep Sea Mining

Companies like BMW, Samsung and Google have pledged not to use minerals from the deep sea. But supporters of deep sea mining say we will need them for green tech. The challenge is to make sure that if we take these metals from the ocean floor, we do it in a way that's responsible and that protects the ecosystem down there.
