The Importance of Eternal Security in the Church

Aiken: No prominent Christian held this view. White did not rebut Aiken's claim by trying to show someone in church history held his view. Fulgeneus, the Bishop of Rusp between 467 and 532, was a very Augustinian theologian. He says God can predesten someone for final salvation with him in heaven or just for initial salvation where they become Christian but later fall away.
