Is There a Tolerance for Normal Struggle?
We have to increase the tolerance for normal struggle. This is one snapshot in time. Let's look at it as an opportunity, not to define who your kid is, but yet an opportunity for growth. The fear base culture that we live in drives all parents to like, what is the worst case kind of circumstance? And their mind gets kind of hooked on that. I think there needs to be more people out there in my field, or in the educational field, where we talk about what is normal and what is expected.
