Joan got a facelift and tummy tug from a board certified doctor in Beverly Hills. The results were not what Joan wanted, and it took that negative experience for her to realize why. Her surgeon specialized in ear, nose, and throat, not plastic surgery. There are no laws in the United States that require doctors to practice only within their speciality. This is actually perfectly legal, whether or not its ethical is still up for debate.
