The Dark Side of Private Equity
In the history of financial markets, opening up to retail investors has never been a sign of something that's about to be fantastic. But I think I wasn't clear. If private equity firms are doing so much to improve companies, and that's where the returns are coming from, then why do you need to layer in all these additional fees? And why aren't you upfront and transparent about these extra fees? That would be the worst possible scenario.
