Risk and Probability in Product Development

Risk and probability the same thing in what we're talking about here. It seems like one is sort of just like the inverse of the other, at least in my kind of lay person's understanding, but i don't know if that's correct. So you cal think of risk in engineering delivery time, means that there's a probability distribution. And in fact, it's probably long tailed. Where there's some chance it goes on time, there's a frankly small chance it happens before you expect it to happen.
