The Law of Small Numbers
The lowest rates of kidney cancer in the US are mostly in rural states. The law of small numbers is exactly the same thing as the law of large numbers but said the other way around that if you have a small sample then you're more likely to get crazy outlier things which you didn't predict using your probability ideas or the probability would suggest shouldn't really happen so much. In these rural states what do we have we have smaller populations so you're more like they have a fluke basically and it's simply because of randomness sometimes you're going to have a low incidence and sometimes you have a high incidence.
