Nozick was more the type of thinker who wanted you to be able to refute the consensus view but you didn't necessarily know what he thought on any given issue. I think if right there's an aspect of philosophy that's just the ability to construct and tear down arguments that's different from the sort of taking a sand aspect that maybe in the ancient world was more common so I think I generally agree with you are claim that right well.
