The Repercussions of Being Wrong
I thought being wrong was a massive weakness. So I wouldn't admit it even in the face of all of the evidence at work, in relationships. But when you're younger and insecure, you're right. That admitting that you've done something wrong is like sort of like this big black mark against you. And if you're already feeling a bit unsure of yourself, it's very hard to sort of swallow that failure or that error. When you're older and you're more confident, you know who you are, I think you can say, yes, I was wrong. It doesn't reflect in any bigger way on you as a person."
