The Number One Cause of Mortality for the California Condor
The number one cause of mortality for the california condor range wide, in the production since 19 92, is lead poisoning. They can fly up to 600 miles in a couple of days. And we we were able to ator the way in which a a species that once ranged in the grand canyon region, we're now reintroducing them. Will they find enough food? Because one of the early posits in the thirties as to why their populations were declining is because there wasn't enough food any more.
